Why can't I access a digital library resource from off campus?

  • Follow links from the library homepage whenever possible
  • Make sure you are logged in via SSO with your Colgate credentials.
  • Find more troubleshooting suggestions on the library's Connecting from Off-Campus page, under the Research tab on the library homepage.
  • If you are accessing a publisher's site directly, include the EZProxy string (https://exlibris.colgate.edu/login?url=) in front of the URL.  
    • Example: The Visual Anthropology Review
    • Regular URL : https://anthrosource.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/15487458 
    • URL with EZProxy: https://exlibris.colgate.edu/login?url=https://anthrosource.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/15487458
