  • If you do not already have your own NYTimes.com account linked to your Colgate email address, you can create one using this link.
  • If you have been paying for your own account and would like to switch to Colgate's subscription, you will need to cancel your existing subscription by contacting the NYTime's customer care department (customercare@nytimes.com or 800-591-9233). Once that's done, you can re-activate your account using this link. If your existing account uses your colgate.edu email address, use the "Already have an account? How can I tell if Colgate has access to a newspaper, journal, magazine, or other periodical?

Click the Journal Finder tool on the library homepage. Enter the name of the publication you seek. The results list will show the library's access points (both print and digital).

Why can't I access an online article from The Atlantic, The New Yorker, etc.?

Many publishers have added a subscription tier for content published only online. In many cases, an institutional subscription to online-only content is not available.

We have access to The Atlantic, The New Yorker, and many other publications through the Flipster app, which mirrors the print magazines and thus does not include articles published only online.
