1. Use the main search box on the library home page to locate popular (non-scholarly) articles about your product/service:

2. Look for keywords and phrases in the articles you find that give you some terminology related to the science behind the product. Think creatively about your search terms, e.g. instant stain removal might help to find articles about the science behind the "Tide to Go" pen.

3. Use the scientific terminology you discover to search for peer-reviewed articles about your product/service. For example, the term "surfactants" retrieves scholarly articles about how instant stain removal works. In addition, the Subject terms in the left menu might supply with more specific terminology, e.g. "surface active agents."
